For parents and guardians
Your child does one simple loop and does it carefully: forecast, keep the version made at the time, compare with the official observation at the same station, then explain the error and the next try. No travel to Boston, no sensors, no paid models and no new devices are needed.

Each unit is about 60 minutes; home extension is optional.
How to read the result
The score for a round is the exact difference between your child's forecast and the official high, in °C. Smaller is better. One short round cannot show whether a child has scientific talent, and cannot promise the next round. Reference lines such as "tomorrow equals the last complete day" let a child test whether a cleverer method really does better.
Season 1 has no leaderboard and no percentiles. Help your child compare their own methods and evidence, not their place among others. How much AI was used, how expensive a model is, or how long a reason is never adds points.

How parents, teachers and AI can help
Reading the task, device help, accessible input, explaining a concept and asking a checkable question are all fine. Your child should be able to say what they decided, what a teacher reminded them of and what AI helped with: "AI suggested the chart title, I checked the numbers myself" is good; calling made-up AI numbers "official data" is not. A revision after seeing the answer still earns review feedback, but it never replaces the forecast sealed before the cutoff. If there is no internet or a time clash, keep an honest record; server times can never be back-dated.
读题、设备辅助、无障碍输入、解释概念和提出可检查的问题都可以。孩子应能说清自己的决定、教师的提醒和 AI 的帮助:「AI 给了图表标题,我自己核对数值」是好的;把 AI 编的数据称为官方数据则不行。看见答案后改对也能得到复盘反馈,但不能替换截止前封存的版本。没有网络或时间冲突时,保持诚实记录;服务端时间不能倒填。
Privacy and publication are separate choices
- Families join with a one-time Family Key. No email, name, school or birthdate is collected; each participant gets a system codename, an age band and a coarse region. Read the privacy page for what is stored and for how long.
- Please keep addresses, school and class, contact details and login codes out of reasons, avatars and work. Hometown practice only needs a city or station.
- The Family Key and Student Pass are credentials: never print them on work or certificates.
- Publication, photos or voice, media stories and partner promotion are each separate choices. Declining publication never lowers a weather score.
- Learning Hub progress (units done, hints, reflection cards) stays in your browser's local storage and is never sent to our server.
- 家庭用一次性的家庭密钥(Family Key)加入。不收集邮箱、姓名、学校或生日;每位参与者得到系统代号、年龄段和粗略地区。存储内容与期限见隐私页。
- 请勿在理由、头像或作品里写住址、学校班级、联系方式或登录码。家乡练习只需城市或站点级别。

- 公开展示、照片/声音、媒体故事、伙伴传播分别单独选择。不同意公开不降低天气分。
- 学习中心进度(完成单元、提示、复盘卡)只保存在浏览器本地,不发送到服务器。
When your child cares about their hometown
Encourage them to look at the local official weather service and write two low-cost, reversible preparations with an adult, such as checking family contact details and a torch. RUDO is not a weather agency and never replaces emergency instructions. Children never go to dangerous places, operate electrical equipment or make financial trades for this activity.
