Partners and schools

Sponsorship decides how far the challenge reaches, never how it is run. The challenge runs with or without partners, and it is free for families forever.

Three things partners never get

Rank

Partners never buy rank and never influence rules, questions, scoring or publication.

Children's data

Partners never see children's or guardians' data, lists or contacts. They receive aggregate counts only.

Children's screens

No partner name or logo appears on question, forecast, result or lesson pages, or in anything sent to a child.

School and club program

Free during the Season 1 pilot. A teacher or club leader organises; each family's guardian still creates the family and gives consent. The system never shows teachers any child's personal information, because it holds none.

  • Teacher kit and lessons in the Learning Hub: six short lessons, worksheets and a paper-and-pencil path.
  • Works on a phone browser; no installation.
  • Students can forecast with a Student Pass issued by their guardian.

What we ask of schools

  • Do not collect students' names or contacts for us; we do not want them.
  • Let guardians decide on participation themselves.
  • Tell us honestly what did not work, so the season report can say so.

Season partner tiers

Amounts are indicative design values, not a price list. Final terms are set only by written agreement. Season 1 has no payment processing on this site.

In-kind partner

Compute credits, data, books or translation

Recognition: text name in the supporters area of the season results page.

Learning season supporter

USD 2,000–5,000

Recognition: text name on the results page, thanks in the season report, and one named award whose rules are published before the season and given only to groups that meet the publication gates.

Anchor co-builder

USD 5,000–15,000

Everything above, plus naming of teacher training sessions and an aggregate data brief (participant counts, completion, error distribution; no personal data). No exclusivity.

Research collaboration

Universities and institutes: data work or volunteer mentors

Academic acknowledgement. Any research use of anonymous aggregate data needs separate review and consent. No raw personal data, ever.

What support pays for: legal review, translation, teacher stipends for non-founder teachers, capped AI-assistance credits, book prizes, off-site backups and the season report. The season report will publish an income and spending summary.
